Eating Out

l’ art Ôbase

The village has a choice of three good eateries, each offering different styles as well as menus. The creperie, l’ art Ôbase offers much more than just crepes from its kitchens, formerly the village post office! Arnaud and Valerie have worked hard to build up a solid reputation since opening in May 2007. With its calm ambience, and modern look, it's a great place to celebrate a family occasion, or dine less formally with friends.

l’ art Ôbase is open every day except wednesday, and saturday mid-day. Booking is advisable!

Le Manureva

Mouliherne, like most small villages has its bar/tabac. Le Manureva is ours, and Alain & his wife Isobel guarantee a warm welcome. Selling everything from magazines to postcards of the area, Le Manureva has also gathered praise for their excellent 'plats du jour'. With a pool table, electronic dartboard and a large TV for the important England v France games (among other, less important things), it's easy to pass an hour or two among the villagers!

Open every day. Booking advisable for meals!

Bar Central

Bernard is your host, here at Bar Central. Known locally for his organising of most musical events held either at the Salle des Fetes in the village, or down at the Plan d'Eau, La Louisiere. Bernard's also getting quite a reputation for the quality of the food he produces, seemingly at the drop of a hat. It's sometimes a lottery as to what you'll be served, but one thing's for sure. You won't be disappointed!

Open every day. It's only a small place, so first come, first served!
